From the Master’s Chair Feb/March 2013
The February meeting of Lodge Enterprise was to raise Bro. Ron Treay to the Master Mason’s degree and the night was again a success with a good attendance of members and visitors. At the end of the Degree, Bro. Ron was congratulated by his son Wor. Bro. David Marshall and the DGIW, V. Wor. Bro. Gary Herrett, on his achievement.
Our March meeting heard Bro. Paul Harden present the 1st Tracing Board without a single prompt. Bro. Paul was congratulated by all on his presentation and on this being the 15th Anniversary of his initiation into Freemasonry. Bro. Paul replied that he has always enjoyed his membership and is a keen supporter of all things Masonic.
The monthly Fraternal Visit for January was to Lodge Friendship where an interesting DVD was shown. February saw our 92nd annual Fraternal Visit to Lodge Star in the West Sedgwick at Belmont where Lodge Enterprise officers presented two interesting talks. Two very enjoyable evenings were had by all in attendance.
Sunday, March 17th will be our annual Half-Way Picnic at Budgewoi where members and families of Lodge Enterprise and The Leichhardt Lodge from Sydney meet on the Central Coast for a casual outing to continue our friendship. The April 3rd monthly meeting will be our annual Anzac Service with guest speaker.
