From the Master’s Chair
Our Past Masters’ meeting in September was by all accounts, an excellent meeting. W Bro Bruce Chadwick’s preparations with his team of Past Masters made for an interesting and informative evening, assisted by the musical brethren and a tasty supper provided by Ian King.
Next month, we will not be having an installation meeting as my term as Worshipful Master of (old) Lodge Enterprise will soon be over. We will then be changing to the new Lodge Enterprise, after our consolidation with Lodge Friendship. My thanks go to each and every one of the officers for their hard work and support throughout the year, and I’m very grateful that you are all staying on for another term to commence the first year of the new Lodge. I’d particularly like to thank the Musical Brethren for their tremendous support.
Our final meeting will be the annual visit of the Leichhardt Lodge and will be taking place on Saturday 2nd November, and we are planning a visit to the mining museum at Teralba on the Sunday.
Our DGIW has decided to again collect hampers for Ronald McDonald house this year, your donations will be gratefully received.
These are exciting times for Lodge Enterprise, and I’m looking forward to sharing them with all of you.
