L-R Wor Bro Geoff Williams, Wor Bro Dave Ruddell and Wor Bro Arthur Rolph.

The Lodge Enterprise No.400 monthly meeting held on Monday, 23rd October 2017 was again a great success. Instead of the previously scheduled and cancelled visit by our Sydney fraternal lodge, a very interesting talk was presented Wor. Bro. Dave Ruddell, a former member of Lodge Enterprise. The theme of the talk was “The Building of King Solomon’s Temple” from the aspect of the logistics involved in the planning, financing and the actual building of that first temple. As a former chief engineer of the BHP Newcastle steelworks, Dave was well aware of all the practical considerations involved in completing such an edifice.

After hearty applause from all present, Wor. Bro. Ruddell was further thanked by the Worshipful Master, Wor. Bro. Geoff Williams.

When all regular business had been completed and further welcomes extended, the Lodge was closed and an adjournment made to the Festive Board for the usual delightful meal and friendly socialising. On this occasion, our prospective candidate Mr. Fabian Kerr was in attendance for the dinner. Fabian was lucky enough to win the “Visitors Lucky Draw” prize.

Another very successful meeting of Lodge Enterprise that was enjoyed by all in attendance.
